POSITION:	Appraisal Intern

GRADE:
RESPONSIBILITY:	The summer Appraisal Intern is responsible for developing skills for the performance of appraisal functions required to provide accurate appraisals and value conclusion of real property and, in some cases, personal property, involved in a Farm Credit lending or related transaction.
EXPERIENCE:	1. College junior, senior or graduate status with emphasis on agriculture, agribusiness, finance, business administration, or equivalent. 2. Knowledge of agriculture or agribusiness. 3. Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills. 4. Hands on experience using PC, word processing and electronic spreadsheet software. 5. Must have the ability to travel and visually inspect facilities, machinery, livestock and crops on customer's farm to assist in evaluating credit factors. Travel required in performance of job.
