POSITION:	Insurance Specialist Mapper
LOCATION:	Heartland Region - Salina, KS
GRADE:	To be determined based upon experience
RESPONSIBILITY:	The Insurance Specialist Mapper supports Association insurance specialists and Vice Presidents by mapping crop insurance accounts using global imaging satellite (GIS) and global positioning satellite (GPS) technology in an effective and efficient manner. Improves the quality of reported insurance data by verification of land locations and acreage determination. Maintains association mapping assets to minimize damage and maximize equipment life. Employee coordinates with association insurance personnel to enhance the association image and reputation through outstanding customer service.
EXPERIENCE:	BA/BS degree with emphasis on agribusiness, business administration; or equivalent. Kansas Crop Insurance License Strong analytical skills. Demonstrated understanding of crop insurance principles and procedures. Knowledge of FCIC and FCA regulations, association, and district policies and procedures. Knowledge of the crop insurance industry and all crop insurance products and services. Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills. Proficient in use of GPS and GIS technology, computer, including word-processing, e-mail and electronic spreadsheet software.
