POSITION:	Insurance Sales Trainee Heartland
LOCATION:	Wichita, KS
GRADE:	TBD
RESPONSIBILITY:	This position develops insurance product knowledge and expertise while enhancing American AgCredit’s image and reputation. Assists in expanding Association market share by learning to sell and service crop insurance products and providing outstanding service which meets or exceeds customer expectations. Also assists in servicing an existing insurance book of business as assigned to maximize retention and growth.
EXPERIENCE:	BA/BS degree preferred, or equivalent work experience. Holds or is able to obtain appropriate insurance licenses. Ability to travel in performance of job and work overtime as needed. Ability to follow specific written and oral instructions; create and sustain positive working relationships with co-workers, legal counsel, the general public, and member borrowers; the ability to ensure timely action on requests for assistance or in order to meet deadlines. Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work to met deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills. Proficient in the use of PC, including e-mail, word processing and electronic spreadsheet software.
