POSITION: Marketing Coordinator
 
LOCATION: Santa Rosa, California
 
GRADE: 14
 
RESPONSIBILITY: The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the administration of the Association’s advertising, graphic design and promotional materials. Will also be responsible for coordinating public relations, special events and press releases. Will assist in preparing the Association’s Annual Report, writing and producing the Customer Newsletter, placing ad slicks, and working closely with third party vendors. Will assist the Senior Vice President – Marketing in administrative functions.
 
EXPERIENCE: BA/BS degree with emphasis in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent.

One to two years of experience in business administration, marketing, communication, public relations, or related fields preferred. Highly motivated entry-level candidates welcomed to apply.

Training in artistic design and layout preferred.

Strong writing and editing skills: ability to write and edit copy in a journalistic style that is structurally and grammatically correct; fluency in writing and preparing copy for a variety of communications channels required.

Strong verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.

Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Experience using PC, word processing, and electronic spreadsheet, graphic design and PowerPoint software.
