American AgCredit will be the premier provider of agricultural financial services, surpassing all other financial institutions in customer service, quality products, and innovative practices. By providing these services, we will directly assist the production and distribution of agricultural commodities throughout America and the world.

Mission Statement - How we will achieve our vision
The primary mission of the Association is making credit available to farmers and other entities upon which farming operations are dependent, providing an adequate and flexible flow of money into rural areas, enhancing the business success of our borrowers, and meeting the current and future agricultural credit needs of American agricultural operators.

In fulfilling its mission, the Association will be governed by the following guiding values:

• The Association recognizes the needs of customers and will make every reasonable attempt to satisfy those needs.

• Service will always be a watchword. To the Association, service means anticipating and meeting customer needs through cooperation, cheerfulness, empathy, tact, respect and courtesy.

• Superior credit quality is essential to maintaining profitability over the long term. Association underwriting and servicing policies and procedures will reflect our dedication to maintaining sound credits.

• Interest rates on our loan products will reflect competitive market conditions yet provide adequate spreads to maintain our profitability and capital adequacy objectives. Our rates will reflect our assessment of risk with each credit.

• All employees will have the opportunity, environment, and incentives to enable them to deliver the highest level of service to the Association’s customers and to contribute to the attainment of the Association’s goals. Opportunity means the training and job advancement potential provided by the Association. Environment includes a supportive, positive atmosphere with free and open communication among all levels of employees, and professional physical working conditions. Incentives provide adequate competitive monetary compensation and benefits as well as non-monetary recognition.

• The Association will provide regional and branch management with the information and support necessary to make operational decisions at the appropriate level nearest the customer.

• The Association will seek to utilize reliable technology that will provide for improved productivity while maintaining cost efficiency.
