The American AgCredit 10th Annual Golf Tournament, benefiting the American AgCredit Educational Scholarship Fund, was held at Oakdale Golf and Country Club on May 7, 2007.
The tournament was well attended as usual with 155 golfers signing up this year.
The tournament is one way American AgCredit can distribute thousands of dollars to high-achieving ag students annually, and has paid out several thousand dollars a year since its inception.
The scholarship recipients are chosen from their school's agriculture department by the instructor, based on performance and academics.
