Matt Erickson is a Terrain senior analyst covering macroeconomics and the grain, oilseed and swine sectors. As a part of the Terrain team of economists, he delivers expert analysis to the customers of AgCountry Farm Credit Services, American AgCredit, Farm Credit Services of America and Frontier Farm Credit.

Matt previously was agriculture economic and policy advisor for AgCountry Farm Credit Services, Farm Credit Services of America and Frontier Farm Credit. He also served as chief economist for the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry and in economist roles at the American Farm Bureau Federation and U.S. Department of Agriculture. In addition to his work as an analyst on commodity markets and farm policy, Matt remains involved in his family farm near Lafayette, Ind. He earned his BS and MS degrees in agricultural economics from Purdue University.
