Crop Insurance Agent Michael Redmond will also give an overview of Pasture, Rangeland, Forage (PRF) and Livestock Risk Protection (LRP) federal crop insurance. PRF is utilized by grazers and forage operations to manage risk and offset revenue losses during periods of low precipitation. Michael will summarize how the policy works, including the Rainfall Index, coverage levels, and productivity factors. He will also outline LRP coverage levels and pricing and how the policy can help producers protect against national marketplace volatility.
