Thank you for attending Global AgInvesting 2020, sponsored in part by CoBank, American AgCredit, Farm Credit Mid-America, Farm Credit Services of America, Farm Credit West, and Northwest Farm Credit Services.

What is Farm Credit?

Farm Credit is a system of cooperative lending institutions created to ensure that agricultural producers and rural communities, as well as ag investors and others, have consistent access to credit. For more than 100 years, we have provided capital and related financial products and services to our customers. We have the expertise and capacity to serve all levels of agriculture, from financing young and beginning farmers to leading or servicing deals involving some of the largest agribusiness corporations.

Who We Are

CoBank is an agricultural credit bank that provides loans and financial services to cooperatives, agribusinesses, rural public utilities and other farm credit associations. The five other organizations, each of whom participated in the webinar you viewed, represent a handful of the roughly 70 Farm Credit Associations across the United States. Each of us serve a distinct lending territory while providing financial services to capital markets customers in all 50 states.

How We’re Structured

We are structured as cooperatives and owned by our customers – farmers, ranchers, farmer-owned cooperatives and other agribusinesses, rural utilities and others in rural America. This structure means that our customers’ needs always come first. We also share earnings with our customer-owners. Over the past decade, Farm Credit customer-owners have received more than $12 billion in patronage dividends.
