Sharing Success Through Patronage

Due to our structure as a cooperative, American AgCredit borrowers are more than just customers. They’re customer owners, members of the cooperative. As well as having a voice in how we operate, our customer owners are entitled to share in our success through an annual cash patronage distribution based on their average daily loan balance. Patronage is a tangible demonstration of the value of ownership in American AgCredit. We are proud to have returned nearly $1 billion to our customer owners since 2005 and remain committed to the long-term sustainability of agriculture.
