- File a report with local law enforcement to create a record of the incident.
- File a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center, run by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for any cyber-enabled crimes at https://www.ic3.gov.
- Report mail fraud or theft to the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) at uspis.gov/report.
- Report incidences of fraud or scams with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/
